St. Anne Catholic School is proud to present our school website, where you can find all forms of resources regarding school information, departments, school events, announcements, and much more.

Here is the suggested school supply list for the 2010-11 school year.

As part of our EcoSchool initiatives, we are no longer accepting plastic water bottles at St. Anne school. We will be selling stainless steel water bottles once again this year to encourage the use of tap water. View this interesting video about bottled water.

St Anne and St James will be co-hosting a parent workshop on Sept 28th - "Improving Family Harmony Through An Understanding of Temperamant"

Authors Nanci Burns and Nancy Rubenstein will offer dynamic, interactive and fun workshop on the subject of temperament. Accepting that Nature and Nurture act together in shaping who we are, they look at temperament to explain the unique differences among individuals in a family. They have co-authored a workbook entitled Take Your Temperament! Finding the Way to Family Harmony through an Understanding of Diverse Temperaments (GSPH, 2010). In this workshop, Nanci and Nancy will introduce the concept of temperament and how it affects the general way in which we react to the world. View more info

DID YOU KNOW that if you have moved since the Municipal Election in 2006, BY DEFAULT you may not be registered as an English Catholic school board supporter. Please ensure your vote counts to support ‘Our Catholic Schools’ by going to the Ottawa Catholic School Board website for information on ‘Direction of School Support’.

OK Clean Water Project

For the seventh year, we will be supporting the OK Clean Water as our Lenten project. Since 2003, we have donated $7,000 to the project. The OK Clean Water project is a partnership between Kumbo, Cameroon in Africa and Ottawa. Money raised for the OK Clean water project helps to bring clean water to the people of Kumbo. One pipe costs $10 and so far the money we have raised has purchased pipes that cover 1.735 kilometres. These pipes bring clean water from the hills to the villages. Look for more information to come home regarding our fundraising plans for this very worthwhile Lenten project.

A message from our School Council

Every year school council provides our community with a year-end report. It is important to highlight what has been accomplished on your behalf and to explain how we allocate the money you contribute to benefit our school. Information on school council activities will be included in the monthly school newsletter. Thanks to each of you because we could not accomplish all we do without your support. Through your contribution to fundraising events, community spirit, and volunteering your valuable time, our school and all of our children benefit. Feel free to contact any council member with your suggestions, comments or recommendations. View year-end report...
The Bridlewood Community Association Safety Committee has provided an article on safety strategies for our community, home and children. For further information, view article, or visit BCA website. For questions, contact Heather Kirk, or safety@bridlewood.ca.
