St. James and St. Anne Catholic School Councils Present: An Evening with Monique Howat

Wednesday, April 28th 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. St. Anne School Gymnasium
If what you're doing isn't working; make a u-turn on your approach to discipline. Parenting should be scream-free and you needn't repeat yourself again and again! Best of all, your child will learn their lessons quickly and grow forward...just like they're supposed to. Learn this popular and uniquely different approach to discipline. It's fun and interactive too. Your kids will thank you for it! View more information .

April 5 – May 26, 2010

The “To the Point ” program has been developed to foster self esteem and reinforce healthy living strategies. Find out more about these workshops.

OK Clean Water Project

For the seventh year, we will be supporting the OK Clean Water as our Lenten project. Since 2003, we have donated $7,000 to the project. The OK Clean Water project is a partnership between Kumbo, Cameroon in Africa and Ottawa. Money raised for the OK Clean water project helps to bring clean water to the people of Kumbo. One pipe costs $10 and so far the money we have raised has purchased pipes that cover 1.735 kilometres. These pipes bring clean water from the hills to the villages. Look for more information to come home regarding our fundraising plans for this very worthwhile Lenten project.

A message from our School Council

Every year school council provides our community with a year-end report. It is important to highlight what has been accomplished on your behalf and to explain how we allocate the money you contribute to benefit our school. Information on school council activities will be included in the monthly school newsletter. Thanks to each of you because we could not accomplish all we do without your support. Through your contribution to fundraising events, community spirit, and volunteering your valuable time, our school and all of our children benefit. Feel free to contact any council member with your suggestions, comments or recommendations. View year-end report...
