    All students in grade 11 or 12 are encouraged to complete a minimum of one cooperative education placement prior to graduation.

    Students in cooperative education receive training in writing resumes, job searching, interviewing techniques, and on-the-job training.

    Cooperative education staff monitor students throughout their placement and offer sessions during the year to assist students in career information gathering and exploration.

    Pre-Placement Training
    Prior to starting a work placement each student must successfully complete 20 hours of in-class work.

    Job Placement
    Work experience must be done between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for 3 hours per day. Students enrol in either a morning or an afternoon coop placement.
