PRESERVING OUR SCHOOL HISTORY - LAST YEAR IN REVIEW
Our areas of focus, in addition to academics, will continue to be the Arts and the new technologies that are available to our students. Mother Teresa is equipped with state-of-the-art computers and design and technology equipment. The program emphasis is to ensure that all these tools are used to enhance curriculum and provide enriching educational opportunities in all disciplines throughout the school. Mother Teresa supports a vibrant Arts program, with opportunities for students in Music, Dance, Drama and Visual Arts.
In keeping with the secondary school reform initiatives, Mother Teresa High School will continue to provide direction and opportunities for students to concretely explore both their workplace and post-secondary school goals. This will be achieved through a comprehensive career exploration program which includes an emphasis on cooperative education.

More About Our Students/ School Achievement
|
 |
Mother Teresa High School fosters student excellence through academic pursuits as well as in various clubs, sports and extracurricular opportunities. We provide a small school atmosphere while maintaining the "extras" that make our school a great place to be. Over thirty percent of our students are on the honour roll. Student involvement in Youth Ministry and in our various outreach initiatives demonstrates commitment to integrating Christian values into school and everyday life. Mentoring by means of peer helpers and peer tutors aids in building strong academic students and increases student self-esteem. Our grade seven and eight students have led the way in introducing new clubs and showing strong participation in school fundraising and school spirit weeks. The teacher-led mentoring program for all junior high students has facilitated the transition from intermediate to high school.
Although we are two schools in one building, we are definitely one community.
