Welcome to Holy Trinity for the 2010 – 2011 school year! We would like to extend our warmest welcome to those who are new to our school community: staff, students, and parents. We hope that the summer was restful and enjoyable, and that everyone has returned fully energized after this well-deserved rest that was the summer holiday. We hope this new school year will bring success and good fortune to everyone in our community, and we look forward to another exciting year at Holy Trinity.

This year’s school board theme “Though Many, We Are One Body In Christ” from the first epistle to the Corinthians, speaks directly to who we are in Catholic education. We, who are many, are one! Even in our Canadian society, where individualism drives our Canadian culture, personal habits, architecture, dreams, and infrastructure, we are one amongst the many who find comfort in Christ. In Christ, we come together for a single purpose, to help our fellow woman and man. We will be guided by the moral imperative to do our part in caring for others in as many ways as we can. Various school groups will meet to explore the many issues we are facing, and to determine how best to address them. We also turn our thoughts to how we share our wealth and care for those less fortunate. Certainly this school has historically enjoyed a relationship with our community that has demonstrated its generosity through participation in fundraising for a variety of charities and events. We will continue to do what we can to share our resources with those who most need them. Our theme will be explored and celebrated in many ways, and our students will be hearing about this in many venues as the year unfolds.
